What to expect

The procedure is quick, minimally invasive and performed under local anaesthetic. Your customised ICL will be inserted into the eye, typically taking under 30 minutes per eye. Most patients notice clearer vision within hours.
Following surgery, you may experience mild dryness, light sensitivity or blurriness, but these symptoms improve within a few days. Vision stabilises in a few weeks with most patients returning to normal activities within a matter of days. However, activities like driving and exercise should be avoided until cleared by your doctor. It is important to follow aftercare instructions and attend follow-up appointments to ensure the best results.
