Cataract Treatment with Seon Vision

  • Before your surgery, you will undergo a comprehensive eye examination and a detailed discussion about your vision goals. Based on your lifestyle and vision needs, the surgeon will recommend which IOL is right for you.

  • On the day of your surgery, dilation and antiseptic eye drops will be applied to prepare your eyes. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia using a minimally invasive technique to replace your cloudy natural lens with the chosen IOL. After surgery, you will receive immediate post-operative care and guidance in a recovery lounge.

  • Most patients resume their normal activities within a week, with their vision becoming increasingly stable over the following weeks. We’ll be with you every step of your journey. Your post-operative care will include regular follow up appointments to ensure the IOL remains correctly positioned.

What our patients say

Frequently asked questions

  • You can book an appointment by calling our clinic 0203 411 1820, booking online via our website, or visiting us in person.

  • A referral is not always necessary. You can book directly for most consultations. However, some specialised treatments may require a referral. Contact us on 0203 411 1820 to find out more.

  • Please bring your prescription glasses or contact lenses (if applicable), a list of medications, your NHS or private health insurance details, and any previous eye test reports. If you wear contact lenses, we recommend removing the soft contact lenses for 3 days and rigid contact lenses for 14 days. This allows the shape of the cornea to revert to its natural original shape for accurate assessment and measurements.

  • Most appointments last between 30-60 minutes, depending on the type of consultation and tests required.

  • Yes, we offer urgent appointments for all eye emergencies, such as sudden vision loss, painful red eyes, or flashes and floaters. Please call us immediately on 0203 411 1820, if you experience any of these symptoms.
